Kathmandu recorded 3.5 mm rainfall followed by 3.0 mm in Biratnagar, 67 mm in Dhankuta, 1.2 mm in Okhaldhunga, 10 mm in Janakpur, 6.8 mm in Bhairahawa, 6 mm in Dang and 3 mm in Dadeldhura.Lumle received the heaviest rainfall measuring 62.7 mm followed by 23.2 mm in Pokhara.The heavy rainfall on Saturday across various parts in the country, including the capital city, is said to have occurred with the monsoon wind replacing the Westerly wind, said Poudel.Another meteorologist Sujan Subedi added that the rainfall since June 15 is due to the activeness of local air along with the effect of the pre-monsoon.
