On the streets of Mumbai, Nigam took the garb of an old man in tatters to dole out some of his songs as part of a social experiment.Remember that old bearded man singing on the roadside? Have you ever turned around to take another look at him? Or listen to him? Well, if not, you might have missed your chance to listen to famed Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam! On the streets of Juhu in Mumbai, Nigam took the garb of an old man in tatters to dole out some of his songs as part of a social experiment conducted by ‘Being Indian’, a popular Youtube channel. Titled ‘The Roadside Ustaad’ the video shows Nigam singing the famous song from the SRK-starrer ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ and other ghazals which caught the attention of many passers by. ‘Being Indian’ tells us in the video that the reason behind this experiment was to find out ‘how Indians react to beauty when it is just around the corner.’
