Nepali and Indian officials on Friday agreed not to continue any reconstruction work in the no-man’s land near Tilathi VDC of Saptari district, ending a tension of two days.Local security officials of the bordering nations signed a three-point agreement today to channelise the flow of Khando River toward its previous riverbed, take initiatives from the central level of both governments to search missing border pillars and put on hold the reconstruction of the disputed dam for now.Earlier, on Thursday, tension had run high in the area after some Nepalis protested reconstruction of the dam carried out by India after it was swept away by a recent flood
