In course of investigation, Ashish’s mother told police three boys had come to drop her son home on Wednesday night. Manisha’s mother told police she found the gate of her house open and the main switch turned off when she returned home. Police are investigating whether the murder was premeditated. According to locals, Bimal knew about the affair. The boy’s family had accepted their affair, but the girl’s family had not. Police are investigating the case, taking Ashish as the main suspect.
